Lego TV Station

Over the course of about nine months I built a TV station.  It took me that long mainly to acquire the pieces necessary to erect this masterpiece.  Some blueprints were drawn up as well.

It was made out of Lego blocks and designed after our actual TV station.  It was definitely not to scale, but close enough.

Here are the results.

Most encompassing shot. This would be equivalent to facing West.

Facing North.  Mystery person in orange hoodie enters building. Couple of folks eating
at picnic table and a live shot on the West end deck.

Close up of mystery person in orange entering building.  We can now see
an engineer drinking coffee on the second floor gazing out.  Why don't
people appreciate him?

Closeup of the liveshot.  Great location as a beautiful view of downtown Tulsa
can be seen behind them.

Facing the "front" or a more Westerly view.

Facing South. We can see the Tower to the right and in the middle
is a live truck.

Side of the truck near the loading dock.  Unspecified person inside,
probably an engineer.

Over the shoulder of the folks at the picnic table.  The woman on the left
is eating something in the break room.  The one on the right is about to exit
the building.

The general manager looks outside his window at the West end of the building.

Upper view of exterior of break room/side of sales department.
A woman can be seen facing the window.

The live shot deck is outside next to the news director's office.

Next door to the editor's suite.  The news director has an intense
discussion with a news producer. He does have windows,
and a dynamite view of downtown.

Shot facing West.  A very handsome hardworking editor is here.
In reality he does not have windows.  He sits in a room in front of
screens all day.
North Wall is removed to reveal a studio.  Straight shot of all anchors
and a couple of production assistants.  Meteorologist is at a green screen

Slightly angled version of above photo to reveal better shot of monitor wall.

Fella eating a sandwich and a lady drinking from a bottle.  I assume
they are in sales, or possibly the traffic department.  Somebody is to the
right of the picture is about to exit the sales offices.  Liveshot in the background.

Barely able to be seen here is the receptionist
ready to welcome all visitors.
